On November 15, the Olam Vietnam Co., Ltd. Branch in Quy Nhon (Gia Lai) and the Executive Board of the grassroots Trade Union organized a program to award Ofi YES scholarships to children of employees and workers with difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties to study well in 2025.
"Ofi YES" is an annual educational support program of Olam Vietnam, maintained since 2021. This year, 67 students at all levels received scholarships with a total amount of 332 million VND.
The scholarship levels include: College and university fees 7.5 million VND/student; high school fees 4 million VND/student; junior high school and primary school fees 3 million VND/student; children with disabilities receive from 5-10 million VND/student.
Mr. Vinod Ghanesh - Director of OLAM Vietnam Co., Ltd. Branch - said: "In order to support and share with workers in difficult circumstances, help them feel secure in their work, and at the same time encourage students to strive to study, every year the company allocates funds to help them - the children of employees and workers - go to school. This shows the company's concern and responsibility to the community through social security activities".
