On November 30, Hanoi National University organized the "Career Journey and Job Connection" Festival 2024 (VNU Job Fair 2024).
The event attracted nearly 8,000 students from inside and outside the National University with about 60 consulting and recruitment booths from 44 domestic and foreign corporations and enterprises, offering more than 7,000 job and internship opportunities.
The event was attended by many large enterprises in the fields of technology, banking, electronics, telecommunications, manufacturing, electronics, real estate, insurance, media, tourism, education, and retail.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, Mr. Dao Thanh Truong - Vice President of Hanoi National University - said that the event was organized with the aim of helping students orient and prepare necessary career skills, enhance competitive advantages when participating in the labor market; catch up with employment trends and human resource recruitment requirements of organizations and businesses.
At the same time, this is a space connecting students and employers, between training units and employers with recruitment needs, coordinating the training of high-quality human resources, and promoting cooperation between businesses, between businesses and scientists.
"I hope that, with the support from businesses and employers, along with the knowledge and skills accumulated at Hanoi National University, you will find your own path and make solid progress in the future," Mr. Truong said.
Representative of VNPT Group, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Vinh, Deputy Director of VNPT Hanoi said that currently, about 20% of the personnel holding management and engineering positions at VNPT Hanoi are former students of Hanoi National University.
VNPT Group and Hanoi National University continue to have many extensive cooperation activities, aiming to take advantage of each side's strengths to promote the development of science and technology, business administration science, improve training quality and contribute to the development of the country.
