Connecting universities - state agencies in AI application training

The Government Office in coordination with CMC Technology Group organizes the Training Program "Applying AI in administrative work, general advisory work".

The program takes place from June 17 to 19, 2026 with the participation of 68 trainees who are leaders and specialists of departments, agencies and units under the Government Office.

This is one of the specific activities to promote the role of Vietnamese technology enterprises in accompanying state agencies to improve AI application capacity, contributing to promoting digital transformation and national AI transformation.

The training program includes 68 trainees who are leaders and experts of departments, agencies, and units under the Government Office, with the participation of leading experts in AI (AI-X) transformation and a team of lecturers and scientists from the CMC ecosystem, especially CMC University and Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, National Institute of Digital Technology & Digital Transformation (Ministry of Science and Technology).

The topics are designed in a practical direction, from an overview of AI and application trends in management, command construction techniques (prompt), human-AI coordination processes in work, to contents on data security, information security and responsible AI use.

Trainees are guided on the application of AI in administrative work processing such as data conversion, summary reports, information lookup, and at the same time practice solving general advisory situations associated with practical work.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Vice President of EVP of CMC Technology Group, Rector of CMC University, said that the highlight of the program is the orientation of "learning to apply immediately", focusing on regular tasks such as summarizing reports, building submissions, searching for legal basis, processing advisory documents and supporting decision-making.

AI does not replace humans but helps improve work efficiency. Technology can support information processing, but the responsibility and quality of work still belong to users. The important thing is the ability to ask questions, verify information and make appropriate decisions" - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung said.

The program is designed in the direction of strengthening practice with about 70% of the time spent on workshops, situation simulation and real-world experiences. Students have access to popular AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini and many specialized AI platforms for research and information processing.

As a member unit of CMC Technology Group, CMC University said that with the orientation of developing the "AI University" model, the school is promoting the application of AI in training, research and knowledge transfer, and expanding AI skills training programs for businesses, organizations and management agencies.

Representatives of CMC Technology Group and CMC University said that they will continue to accompany in training, consulting and deploying AI applications at the Government Office in the coming time.
