On the morning of April 28, at Hoang Dieu High School, Soc Trang City (Soc Trang Province), an emotional and meaningful flag-raising ceremony took place at the beginning of the week with the special appearance of thousands of national flags.
Along with that, the children also simultaneously raised phones with a background image of the national flag.
Mr. Phung Kim Phu - Principal of Hoang Dieu High School, shared: "In order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South, reunifying the country, the school has implemented many propaganda and education activities to the students. The special flag -raising ceremony today is one of those activities, helping them to understand and respect the historical and traditional values of the nation, from which efforts to build and contribute to the future."
In the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, teachers and students of Hoang Dieu High School observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers - those who heroically sacrificed for the independence, freedom and unity of the Fatherland.
