A series of scholarships worth 50% of tuition fees for the first semester
The scholarship fund applies to candidates who are admitted to 31 regular bachelor's training majors in 9 fields: Economics - Administration; Marketing - Communications; Logistics - International Trade; Information Technology; Tourism - Restaurant - Hotel; Design - Art; International Language - Culture; Law - Psychology; Finance - Banking. Hoa Sen Elite programs, on-site international study programs and international affiliate programs are not subject to application.
This is considered one of the large-scale scholarship programs in Ho Chi Minh City this year, aiming to motivate students to pursue their favorite major, reducing financial pressure on their families and themselves.
The HSU scholarship program has many types and approval criteria, suitable for many groups of candidates. In which, the scholarship level worth 50% of the first semester tuition fee (excluding tuition fees for English at the International integration 1, 2, and 3) is for 3 groups of subjects: Excellent candidate, Special Talent, English Talent. The time for considering admission scholarships is until July 31, 2025.
Candidates will receive an Excellent Candidate Scholarship if they meet one of the following conditions: average score of three semesters (1st semester, 2nd semester, 11th grade, 1st grade 12) from 8.0 or higher or the total high school graduation exam score of the three subjects for admission from 24 points or higher, or reaching 900 points in the VNU-HCM competency assessment exam.
In addition, the Special Talent Scholarship will be awarded to high school graduates with outstanding achievements in academics, sports, arts or scientific research.
The school also offers English Talent Scholarships to outstanding candidates with international certificates equivalent to B2, including: VEPT (59-66), TOEIC 4 skills including Listening - Reading (600 and Speaking - Writing (240), IELTS 5.5, TOEFL IBT 70, Aptis B2. Certificates such as IELTS Indicator, VEPT for online home testing, TOEFL iBT Home Edition will not be recognized.
Scholarship policy may accumulate some scholarships
To encourage candidates to choose key training majors with high human resource needs, HSU offers a major scholarship worth 10% of the first semester tuition fee to students who register for majors: Information Technology, Hotel Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Multimedia Communications, Digital Marketing, Logistics and Supply Chain Management. The scholarship admission period is until June 30, 2025.
Candidates can apply for a major scholarship at the same time as one of the three scholarships for Excellent Candidates, Special Talent, and English Talent if they are eligible. Candidates are encouraged to submit their applications as soon as possible to increase their chances of receiving scholarships due to limited quantity.
