On November 10, Battalion 519, Regiment 893, An Giang Provincial Military Command coordinated with the Police, Youth Union of Giang Thanh Commune and Thoai Ngoc Hau High School to organize propaganda, dissemination and education of legal knowledge to nearly 800 students of the school.
Through the propaganda session, it has contributed to helping students better understand the Law on Military Service, the Law on Drug Prevention and Control and drug prevention and control, especially the problem of school violence that has been very complicated in recent times. This helps them better understand their obligations and responsibilities as citizens. With an intuitive propaganda method, going into depth in the content close to reality, the propaganda session has brought great results, contributing to equipping students with useful knowledge, raising awareness for students to be able to apply it to practical learning at school as well as activities in society. Thereby contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security in the province.
Lieutenant Colonel Tran Trong Binh, Political Commissar of Regiment 893, said: Coordinating the dissemination of legal knowledge to students in the military station is one of the new contents implemented by the unit under the project "Promoting the role of the People's Army force in participating in the work of disseminating and educating the law, mobilizing people to comply with the law at the grassroots level in the period of 2021 - 2027". Through propaganda work, it has contributed to raising awareness of students, especially students on the border, about the laws of the state, the army and the obligations of citizens.
In the coming time, the Regiment Command will continue to direct units to continue to coordinate to organize many such propaganda sessions to a large number of students of schools in the area.
On this occasion, Battalion 519 - Regiment 893 together with the Giang Thanh Commune Youth Union also presented 5 gifts to students in difficult circumstances who have improved their learning, each worth 500,000 VND. At the same time, the unit has distributed more than 800 leaflets to disseminate the law to students.
