On August 5, leaders of Nha Trang ward (Khanh Hoa province) said that the locality has just had a plan to arrange public educational institutions in the area.
According to the arrangement plan, the secondary school level will be reduced from 7 schools to 5 schools.
In which, Thai Nguyen Secondary School (37 classes), Bui Thi Xuan Secondary School (36 classes) and Tran Quoc Toan Secondary School (34 classes) are kept unchanged.
Merging Au Co Secondary School with Tran Nhat Duat Secondary School into the new Au Co Secondary School with a scale of 53 classes; merging Yersin Secondary School with Trung Vuong Secondary School into the new Trung Vuong Secondary School, with a scale of 44 classes. Merged schools will have 1 main school and 1 branch school.
For primary schools, from the current 13 schools, it will be reduced to 10 schools. In which, arranging 6 schools into 3 new schools including: Van Thang - Van Thanh into Van Thang Primary School, scale 42 classes, 1 main school and 2 school sites;
Vinh Nguyen 2 - Vinh Nguyen 3 merge into Vinh Nguyen 2 Primary School, with a scale of 32 classes, with 1 main school and 3 school sites;
Phuoc Hoa 1 - Phuoc Hoa 2 merged into Phuoc Hoa Primary School with a scale of 34 classes, 1 main school and 1 school point.
The preschool level alone has the largest adjustment when all 13 schools are rearranged into 6 schools, a decrease of 53.8%.
In which, Vinh Nguyen Kindergarten 1 and 2 are arranged into Vinh Nguyen Kindergarten, with a scale of 24 classes, 1 main school and 3 school sites.
Loc Tho 1 Kindergarten, Xuong Huan Kindergarten, Van Thanh Kindergarten merged into Ly Tu Trong Kindergarten, with a scale of 25 classes with 1 main school and 3 school sites.
Arranging Loc Tho 2 Kindergarten and Van Thang Kindergarten into Huong Sen Kindergarten, with a scale of 26 classes, with 1 main school and 2 school sites.
Tan Lap 1 Kindergarten and Phuoc Hoa Kindergarten after arrangement become 8/3 Kindergarten, with a scale of 15 classes, 1 main school and 3 school sites.
Arranging Tan Lap 2 Kindergarten and Ngo Thoi Nhiem Kindergarten into Hong Bang Kindergarten, with a scale of 21 classes.
Phuoc Tien Kindergarten and Phuoc Tan Kindergarten become Vo Tru Kindergarten, with a scale of 16 classes.
After completing the arrangement, Nha Trang ward will have 21 public schools, a decrease of 12 schools, equivalent to 36.4% compared to the present. Including 5 secondary schools, 10 primary schools and 6 kindergartens.
According to Nha Trang Ward People's Committee, in the process of implementing the arrangement, the full rights of management officials, teachers, and staff will be ensured.
The arrangement of educational institutions will also not affect teaching and learning activities, and will not cause difficulties for students and parents when going to school.
