Vinh Long - The working group of the Department of Teachers noted many shortcomings in job positions, professional titles and allowances at the Center for Inclusive Education.

On September 18, a working group of the Department of Teachers led by Deputy Director Pham Tuan Anh worked at the Vinh Long Center for Inclusive Education, also attended by the Department of Education and Training of Vinh Long province.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phuc - Director of Vinh Long integrated Education Center said that the unit is facing many difficulties. Some specialized professional positions have not recruited enough personnel, and civil servants do not have their own professional titles.

In addition, the allowance regime is not unified and there is no separate job position framework, causing difficulties in management, salary classification as well as position conversion for teachers.

Faced with the above reality, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Vinh Long province, Vo Van Luyen, proposed that the Ministry of Education and Training issue a document clearly stipulating job positions, the structure of civil servants according to professional titles, along with allowances and how to calculate teaching hours, and integration support.

In his concluding remarks, Deputy Director Pham Tuan Anh emphasized that the education sector is facing the need for strong innovation, and needs to pay the highest attention to policies for teachers, managers and educational institutions.

He suggested that issues under local authority should be handled immediately, and that the Department of Education and Training should synthesize reports to advise the Ministry to issue appropriate regulations and circulars.

Currently, the Center has 21 staff, teachers, and employees; directly teaching 156 students and supporting the integration of thousands of students in the province.
