Korean students exchange culture in Quang Tri

Quang Tri - Students of Gyeongkuk National University organize cultural exchanges, life skills, and educational experiences with teachers and students of Loc Ninh Elementary School.

From January 13 to 22, 2026, a delegation of 34 lecturers and students from Gyeongkuk National University (Korea) visited and interacted at Loc Ninh Elementary School, Dong Thuan ward, Quang Tri province.

The program is organized by the school in coordination with the Youth Union of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri, with many diverse educational and cultural experiences.

Within 10 days, the delegation of Korean lecturers and students and teachers and students of Loc Ninh Elementary School will deploy activities to educate life skills, cultural and artistic exchange, teach Korean, English, fine arts, K-Pop, and learn about traditional Korean culture.

In parallel with that are activities to repair and renovate facilities, paint classrooms, contributing to creating a more spacious and lively learning space for students.

In addition to activities at the school, the delegation also visited and experienced some typical tourist destinations of Quang Tri and neighboring areas such as Phong Nha cave, Thien Duong cave. Through this, Korean lecturers and students have more opportunities to learn about Vietnamese nature, people and culture.

Ms. Han Tae Kyung, head of the delegation of Gyeongkuk National University, said that the delegation was very impressed with the warm welcome of teachers and students of Loc Ninh Elementary School. According to her, although it was only the first days of working, the members of the delegation had many memorable experiences, understood more about Vietnamese culture and people, and especially the sincere feelings of the students.

Through classes and experiential activities, students of Loc Ninh Elementary School have the opportunity to practice life skills, get acquainted with foreign languages, and gain more access to the unique cultural features of Korea.
The exchange activity also creates conditions for teachers from both sides to exchange teaching experiences, class organization methods and extracurricular activities.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Ngan - Principal of Loc Ninh Elementary School, highly appreciated the sense of responsibility, friendliness and positivity of Korean students.

Despite language barriers, activities are still taking place soi noi, receiving the huong ung of students and parents. The school expects the program to bring many positive results when it ends.

In addition, the delegation of Gyeongkuk National University also had cultural exchanges with officials, teachers, students of the school and members of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri.

This is considered a premise for the two sides to aim to build long-term cooperation programs, such as academic exchange, scientific research, and exchange of lecturers and students in the coming time.
