On the afternoon of January 9, Ca Mau province held a meeting to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Students (January 9, 1950 - January 9, 2026). Attending were Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai and provincial leaders.

According to Ms. Nguyen Trang Anh Thu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Student Association of Ca Mau province, currently the whole province has nearly 191,000 students. This is an abundant young human resource, a future intellectual force, playing an important role in building digital government, digital economy, and digital society; and at the same time contributing to improving the quality of education and training, promoting sustainable development of Ca Mau province in the new period.

Over the past time, through many movements, Ca Mau students have made positive contributions to the socio-economic development of the locality.
Huynh Thi Ngoc Han - a 3rd-year student majoring in Business Administration, Bac Lieu University - said she is learning Chinese to increase job opportunities after graduation. According to Han, Ca Mau is investing in many large projects such as Hon Khoai port; Ca Mau Airport, Ca Mau - Dat Mui expressway... These projects will attract many businesses to invest in Ca Mau. Certainly, businesses need human resources, so the opportunity to have jobs in their homeland is very large.
Similarly, Tran Van Hung - a student majoring in Fisheries, Bac Lieu University - expressed his desire to find a job in aquaculture and processing enterprises in Ca Mau province after graduating.

At the program, the Organizing Committee invited speakers working in the field of education to exchange views on the implementation of Resolution No. 71 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development; Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on the development of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation in Ca Mau province.
Through the sharing of speakers, students have a more comprehensive view of education, training and digital transformation, thereby proactively equipping themselves with knowledge and skills as luggage when looking for jobs after graduation.
Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan wished that Ca Mau students need to try harder in their studies to meet the job recruitment needs when graduating.
On this occasion, Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 18 students with outstanding achievements in studying and Youth Union - Association work in the 2024 - 2025 school year. Vo Van Kiet Scholarship Fund awarded 30 scholarships to students overcoming difficulties to study well, each worth 2 million VND.
