According to the plan, the program "Green Agricultural Summer School - Future Rice Journey" is chaired by the Central Council of the Young Pioneers, in coordination with the Project "Learning with Xich Lo" and the Dong Thap Provincial Youth Union.
This is an experiential education model for students from 915 years old. With the form of visual learning through hands-on experience from August 15 to August 18, 2025.
Students will learn about the model of favorable rice, visit typical ecological regions, from Go Thap, Tram Chim National Park to Giong Dinh An Cooperative and Sa Dec traditional flour craft village.
In particular, the journey also integrates activities such as learning how to be a farmer during the flood season, recycling paper from lotus stems, drawing interactive ecological maps and using AI technology to promote Vietnamese rice.
Thereby, the program contributes to educating awareness of environmental protection, preserving agricultural cultural values and inspiring children to become green citizens of the future.
After the pilot in Dong Thap, the model will be summarized and expanded to be implemented in the provinces in the Mekong Delta. Participating delegates will be granted certificates and are responsible for spreading the model locally.
