On the morning of October 24, in Khanh Hoa, Tuoi Tre Newspaper coordinated with the Provincial Youth Unions of Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan and Binh Dinh provinces to organize the "Tiep suc den truong" scholarship awarding ceremony for 60 new students with difficult circumstances.
The organizers said the total cost of the program is more than 900 million VND, with each scholarship worth 15 million VND in cash.
In addition, the program also donated 3 laptops; supported 10 English scholarships for free IELTS preparation courses for new students in Khanh Hoa who received scholarships from the program, backpacks and 60 books on financial education, and financial management skills guidance.
This is the 7th awarding point in the 2024 "Support to School" scholarship program for new students under the 596th "For Tomorrow's Development" program of Tuoi Tre Newspaper.
Each new student participating in this scholarship is a story of perseverance to overcome difficulties to reach the pinnacle of knowledge and their admirable filial piety towards their parents. Many new students receiving the scholarship have now graduated and have made many contributions to society.
