The conference announced the decisions of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the City People's Committee on personnel work at Hai Duong University. Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the City People's Committee approved Ms. Ta Thi Thuy Ngan to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Hai Duong University; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Gam to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Hai Duong University, term 2025-2030.
Along with that, the Chairman of the City People's Committee decided to appoint Ms. Ta Thi Thuy Ngan as Rector of Hai Duong University. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Gam, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Mr. Nguyen Van Quyen and Mr. Tang The Toan were appointed as Vice Rectors of Hai Duong University. The term of appointment for the above-mentioned positions is 5 years.
Speaking at the Conference, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Vu Tien Phung acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of Hai Duong University to the city's education and training career in the past time, especially in the context that the city is implementing Resolution No. 71 on breakthroughs in education, training, science and technology development.
The consolidation and supplementation of the school's key leadership team is expected to create a new turning point, contributing to building a streamlined, effective, and efficient university governance model, meeting development requirements in the new period.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the collective leadership of Hai Duong University in the new term to soon stabilize the organization and assign tasks in the spirit of clear people, clear tasks, clear responsibilities, clear time; maximize the potential and intelligence of the team of more than 300 officials, lecturers, and employees.
At the same time, promote innovation in university governance; expand and improve the quality of training programs associated with the practical needs of society and the city's development orientation, especially in the fields of logistics, industry, digital transformation and high-quality human resources.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Ms. Ta Thi Thuy Ngan - Principal of Hai Duong University respectfully thanked the trust and concern of the City Party Committee, People's Council, City People's Committee and departments and branches.
Ms. Ngan affirmed that she will work with the Party Committee and Board of Directors to promote the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, inherit the achievements that have been achieved; and proactively innovate management thinking, improve the quality of training, scientific research and technology transfer, step by step affirming the position of Hai Duong University, making practical contributions to the socio-economic development of Hai Phong city.
