Hong Bang International University organizes the celebration of International Nursing Day

    On May 12, Hong Bang International University (HIU) held a ceremony to celebrate International Nursing Day, in recognition of the role of the nursing industry in the health system.

    Dr. Pham Van Tac - former Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Training (Ministry of Health), senior expert of HIU, said that nursing is a key force, accounting for about 75% of human resources at medical facilities and plays an important role in caring for patients as well as operating modern healthcare.

    A highlight of the ceremony was the "fire-fighting" ceremony - a symbolic activity to commemorate Florence Nightingale, who is considered the founder of modern nursing. The fire is passed from lecturer to student, representing the spirit of dedication, responsibility and inheritance between generations.

    On the same day, a scientific seminar on "New trends in nursing training and practice" took place with typical presentations such as: "Oral cancer screening and the role of nursing" - Dr.CK1 Tran Phuoc Huu (BV Thong Nhat); "Integrating digital platforms in nursing bachelor's training" - Dr. Ho Dang Khanh Ngan (HIU);...

    The studies presented at the workshop contributed to expanding practical perspectives and enhancing the connection between training and practice in the field of nursing.

    On November 23, more than 1,000 students from 13 universities in the Southern region immersed themselves in the exciting atmosphere at the K-Food Korean Food Festival 2024 hosted by Hong Bang International University (HIU). This is the first playground exclusively for inter-university students organized in Ho Chi Minh City, competing in Korean cuisine and performing street dances along with many interesting activities to experience the culture of the kimchi land.
