The journey to collect teddy bears
Since childhood, Bui Quynh Anh (nickname Quynh Sanh Dieu, born in 1995, Hanoi) has loved cartoon characters. She started looking for bear models associated with her favorite movies and officially entered the collective world from 2023. In just a short time, her teddy bear collection with many limited editions has been highly appreciated by many people.
Quynh Anh's room is not only a place to store but also recreates a miniature cartoon world. Characters from Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Up, Winnie the Pooh, or fairy tale figures such as Cinderella and Alice in Wonderland are all carefully arranged, creating a space filled with childhood memories.
Many of Quynh Anh's indoor bear models are limited editions, difficult to find on the market. One of her most memorable memories was when hunting for the duo Carl &inger (Carl and Ellie) for the 2024 Loveceremony version from the movie Up (Flying). As soon as she learned about this product, she immediately booked it on eBay so as not to miss the opportunity to own it. Or with the 10th anniversary version of Up (Flying), she had to auction and ask someone to carry her from England to Vietnam at a price of nearly 4 million VND per child.
According to Quynh Anh, the greatest value of the collection is not the amount of money spent but the journey of discovery and the stories behind each item.
Storage and connection - When collection becomes a part of life
Owning a large quantity of teddy bears requires a scientific preservation method. Quynh Anh ordered a separate display cabinet to ensure that each bear had a suitable location, avoiding dirt and damage over time. She also regularly vacuum-pauses, filters the air and washes it regularly every two months. Small models such as Tsum Tsum (a Disney mini bear line) or bear &you (a special bear line with a hand-carved design) are kept in a separate box to maintain the original state.

Not stopping at teddy bears, Quynh Anh plans to expand the collection to the Disney plastic toys (a famous American film and toy manufacturer) and Lego (a famous Danish assembly toy brand).
Although he has received mixed opinions, Quynh Anh is still steadfast in her interests. Collecting teddy bears not only brings joy but also helps her connect with people with similar interests. For Quynh Anh, each teddy bear is not only a collectible item but also a memory, emotion and mark on the path of pursuing her passion.
