This is a special summer food camp Culinary Camp 2025: Berry Burrow organized by Ams Baking Club, dedicated to children aged 6-13 who love cooking, exploring nutrition and food science.
Different from regular summer camp, Culinary Camp brings a learning journey to play - play but learn through hands-on experiential activities in the bakery. Inspired by the image of a fairy tale bakery hidden in a green moss forest, Berry Burrow summer camp has turned children into adorable "working volunteers", learning together about magical ingredients such as "snow mushroom powder", "sweet leaf sugar", or "crushed moonlight".
Not only limited to the cooking framework, summer camp also integrates scientific, artistic, life skills and environmental protection factors, helping children expand their thinking and develop comprehensively.
During the event days, young people get to get acquainted and participate in fun experiments such as " volcanoes and fires", "dancing corn". They will also learn about the ecosystem through the activity of making anable potted plants and recyclable lock hooks.
In addition, with the safety content in the kitchen and self-defense skills, with the presence of guests from the Children's Accident Prevention and Injury Center (CAIP), children learn first aid and how to clean food.
Ams Baking Club - the event organizer - is the first culinary club at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, established in 2014.
