Hanoi Food Culture Festival 2024 will be held for 3 days, November 29, 30, 2024 and December 1, 2024, at Thong Nhat Park with the theme "Hanoi connects five continents".

Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Vu Thu Ha has just signed and issued Plan No. 313/KH-UBND on organizing the Hanoi Culinary Culture Festival 2024.

The festival aims to honor, preserve and promote the traditional cultural and culinary values ​​of the capital Hanoi, create development resources, build and effectively exploit the cultural and culinary brand, through developing a diverse, quintessential, unique and quality culture and cuisine, thereby affirming Hanoi's position as an attractive culinary destination to domestic, regional and international friends.

This is also a good opportunity for Hanoi and the embassies of other countries to strengthen and promote cultural diplomacy to introduce and promote the image of people and potential strengths of Hanoi to international friends, thereby expanding relations and cooperation with foreign localities, organizations and individuals, international organizations, attracting investment sources, promoting trade, tourism, and cultural industry, contributing to socio-economic development, while absorbing the quintessence of human culture, enriching and deepening the traditional cultural values ​​of Hanoi.

The event has an important meaning in the work of preserving and promoting culinary values, especially the products of Traditional Craft Villages, in order to spread, preserve and transmit culinary values ​​and specialty products of each region and locality; thereby, creating conditions for embassies of countries, localities, businesses, organizations and individuals to meet, exchange, display and promote products, exchange, sign business cooperation agreements, expand markets, develop tourism to enhance brand, enhance reputation, and contribute to promoting the economic development of the Capital.

Activities at the Festival:

Booth area: Gathering booths from embassies of countries in Vietnam, typical traditional craft villages of Hanoi, typical culinary products of localities, operating time from 9:00 to 22:00. The booths will be arranged and divided into 03 areas: International culinary area; Area introducing typical culinary cultural space of traditional craft villages and performances of artisans; Area introducing products and enjoying cuisine with experiential activities.

Photo exhibition area: Introducing artworks promoting culture, tourism, typical domestic and international cuisine and images of friendly cooperation between countries. Besides, there are miniatures: using natural, environmentally friendly materials or products made from bamboo, lanterns, hats, fans,...

Mobile book exhibition: Introducing books promoting culture, art, tourism, typical domestic and international cuisine or friendly cooperation between countries.

Folk games, traditional and modern art performances: Diners participate in entertainment activities, experience traditional craft village culture, learn and explore culinary culture through folk games, minigames, workshops on making Dong Ho paintings, writing calligraphy...

Exchange and Discussion: Organize discussion and exchange activities to improve the quality of human resources - develop culinary culture in Hanoi.
