Hung Yen - The Department of Education and Training of the province has just issued a document to strengthen the management of food origin and semi-boarding organization at educational institutions.

According to the Department of Education and Training (GDĐT) of Hung Yen province, in the 2025 - 2026 school year, the Department focuses on directing the improvement of the quality of educational activities in educational institutions, in which focusing on school safety, especially semi-boarding for students. However, the risk of food insecurity (ATTP) is still latent and complicated.

In order to further strengthen the management of semi-boarding, ensuring absolute safety for students' health, the Department of Education and Training requests units to strictly review all procedures for records and management procedures related to food supply and meals for students. Ensure strict compliance with the provisions of law and other relevant regulations and guidelines.

Regularly inspect food supply sources, strengthen surprise inspections directly at food suppliers; absolutely do not allow food of unknown origin and substandard quality to enter schools.

In addition, strictly ensure food processing procedures at educational institutions with semi-boarding kitchens. Strictly control food inputs, store food samples in accordance with regulations. At the same time, mobilize the participation of parents' representatives in monitoring the origin of food and school kitchens.

In particular, the Principal of the school, the owner of the independent private preschool education institution, is responsible to the Department of Education and Training, management levels, and before the law if food safety and hygiene incidents occur in the educational institution.

The Department of Education and Training of Hung Yen province requests educational institutions (including independent private preschool groups and classes) to report on the semi-boarding organization of the unit, clearly stating the results of self-review and internal inspection of semi-boarding work, ensuring food safety, and send them to the Department of Education and Training before 5 pm on April 3.
