Giving children space to try and do it themselves is the secret to helping them to be strong and independent without stress.

Raising children so that they can develop independence soon - not only serving themselves but also knowing how to make decisions and take responsibility - is praised by many international experts as an important foundation for maturity. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics (HealthyChildren.org), parents should let their children do small things suitable for their age - such as moving toys themselves, wearing clothes themselves, helping to display tables - so that their children learn more responsible and confident skills.

Parenting website Puntoon Kids recommends that parents avoid being a housewife when their children are in trouble. Instead of immediately asking for help, parents should ask suggestive questions like What should I do?, helping children think for themselves and find solutions this trains their thinking ability, perseverance and responsibility.

In addition, building fixed habits and processes such as cleaning up after playing, arranging books, preparing personal belongings helps children learn how to manage time and nurture order and self-awareness. As children get used to small things every day, they will gradually form an independent, undependent mindset but still feel supported and loved by their parents.

It is important to consider the appropriate age, encourage your child to try it and always be ready to support when needed to avoid turning independence into pressure. A nurturing environment where children know that failure is normal, try to make the mistake of relearning is the best place for them to grow up properly.
