The atmosphere of Children's Tet has filled the National Children's Hospital before June 1 when hundreds of children being treated here participated in the "Children's Day" program with special art performances and thousands of meaningful gifts. For many children, this is the first time they have experienced a complete Children's Tet even though they still have tendons, surgeries or pain.
Children like T.T.A, 11 years old, Nghe An, despite being given antibodies, eagerly asked their mother to go to the hall, their eyes caught up with each performance. A has been treated for a cubica nerve tumor for nearly a year now, but the moment he had fun and laughed today was a very precious thing for me.
Many children who have just undergone surgery, such as L.A.M, 4 years old, Lao Cai, were also taken by their mothers to attend. After having surgery to remove the nail follicle 3 days ago, M was still tired but could not hide his excitement when given gifts and watching the performance.
On the morning of May 31, the Children's Hospital Central Hospital held a Children's Day event with a fair program. With 14 fair booths, children and teenagers receive gifts, take photos and participate in playgrounds.

Dr. Cao Viet Tung - Deputy Director of the National Children's Hospital - said: "We always hope that even while in the hospital, children can still feel the joy of their childhood, be dreamy, and have laughter. Activities during the Children's Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival or Lunar New Year are spiritual gifts to help them overcome difficulties and fight against diseases".
This year, thanks to the support of sponsors, the hospital organized art programs, art performances and 32 free fair booths with games such as sand paintings, bracelets, mini electric cars... along with more than 23,000 gifts such as backpacks, comics, candy, milk, and teddy bears given to children. The total sponsorship value for the program exceeded 1.3 billion VND.
In addition, in the two weeks from May 15 to 29, the Department of Social Work mobilized more than 850 million VND to support the treatment of more than 500 patients in difficult circumstances. Nearly 5,000 free meals were also sent to the children and their families.
Amid the hardships of treatment, a warm and bustling "Child's Day" has become an invaluable gift for the "child soldiers" who are fighting the disease every day at the National Children's Hospital.
