On the evening of February 25 (the 9th day of the first lunar month), at Le Loi Street Park, Binh Duong ward, the 2026 lantern festival was held with the theme "Night of Lantern Festival - Lighting Wishes". This is the first time the festival has been held in Binh Duong ward.
Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Chi Trung - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Binh Duong ward; Mr. Nguyen Van Dong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Di An ward, along with officials of Binh Duong ward, units and more than 5,000 people.
Speaking at the ceremony, leaders of Binh Duong ward expressed their desire that through the flower lantern releasing activity, it will contribute to strengthening community cohesion, spreading good values, and sending wishes for peace and happiness to each family and homeland.
The festival night took place in a solemn and warm atmosphere. At the festival, people watched special art performances to welcome the New Year, lion and dragon dances and released lanterns to send wishes.
At the festival, there are also activities of giving calligraphy and free vegetarian food areas attracting a large number of people to participate.
