The social organization Think Playground and BASF Vietnam Company in collaboration with a number of units inaugurated a special playground for 200 visually impaired children.
The playground is specifically designed with a structure suitable for many different activities in a safe, friendly outdoor space for children to play, learn, and easily interact.
Using environmentally friendly materials such as eucalyptus wood, old tires, recycled plastic panels, the playground supports the physical and mental development of visually impaired children.
Think Playgrounds with the mission of advocating for children 's "Right to Play" , through cooperation with multi-sector partners and communities has built more than 240 playgrounds, green spaces, ecological public spaces and sustainable such as recycled playgrounds, community gardens, small parks, forest parks, community art spaces...
This is also a pioneering organization in designing and building public spaces with the participation of people with disabilities with nearly 20 inclusive playgrounds at specialized schools, support centers, etc.
BASF Vietnam began collaborating with Think Playgrounds in 2019 to join hands to solve the shortage of community play space.
To date, this program has brought joy to nearly 32,000 children, mainly in the suburban areas of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Besides encouraging children to learn through fun activities, the project also raises awareness of environmental protection for the younger generation.
