The eyes of Mr. Vo Van Tu (43 years old, from Nghe An) were filled with happiness and joy when he received 4 free bus tickets from the program "Full Tet - Reunion of Love" organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union in collaboration with many artists, actors, and digital content creators on January 11, to help workers in difficult circumstances return home to celebrate Tet.
After four years of separation, Mr. Tu and his family finally have the opportunity to return home to reunite with their relatives on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025.
Anh Tu shared: "It's been 4 years since the whole family has been able to return to their hometown, it's so sad. The family's situation is difficult, since the pandemic, the main income has only relied on my wife's salary. I can't find a job so I stay home to take care of the two children's education.
My father passed away when I was young, so this year I really wanted to go home to visit my mother, who is also old. For the past few days, I have called her every day, saying, "I'll go home for Tet this year, Mom." When my whole family heard that we were given free bus tickets, they cried tears of joy."
Sharing the same sentiment as those who are far from home and have not had the opportunity to return home for Tet, Mr. Nguyen Van Loc (46 years old, from Nghe An) shared that both he and his wife work for the same company. With their monthly income, his family can only afford to raise a small child.

"My hometown is quite far from Nghe An, so every time I go back to my hometown, my husband and I have to travel, and it is quite difficult to travel. It is estimated that the travel expenses for Tet must be up to millions of dong, not to mention Tet gifts and preparations for living during Tet. Therefore, as soon as I learned about the program, I registered immediately.
I am very happy because I am about to return to my hometown and reunite with my family. I feel really lucky and thank the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union and the sponsors for supporting and helping me get this ticket. Through today's livestream event, I also hope to spread this love to more people. Workers far from home like me will no longer feel lost in this big city," Mr. Loc shared.
Mr. Le Hoang Minh - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Workers Support Center, said that every Tet holiday, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union always has activities to accompany and support the subjects to have a warm and happy Tet.
“With the spirit of accompanying the city’s youth and workers, we organize trips back to their hometowns, creating conditions for workers to return to reunite with their families. In particular, the trips are not only convenient but also help workers feel the companionship and sharing of the community on their journey back to their hometowns,” said Mr. Minh.
According to Mr. Minh, the event received the support of many businesses and content creators such as Tiktoker Kim Xuyen, Diep Le, Chanh Beauty, Thien Nhan, Huyen Phi, and artists Phi Phung, Phuong Dung... This is a bridge to help us spread humane and meaningful values, joining hands to bring a warm and prosperous Tet to young people and disadvantaged workers in the city.
The program does not stop at shopping activities but also directly contributes to the "Youth Workers' Bus - Spring Bus", with the goal of supporting 2,000 disadvantaged workers to return home to reunite with their families during Tet 2025 in 14 provinces and cities across the country.
