On January 11, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union coordinated to organize the program "Full Tet - Sum vay tinh than" to help workers in difficult circumstances return to their hometowns to celebrate Tet. The highlight was the mega livestream activity combined with the participation of many artists and actors to contribute to the zero-dong bus trips for young workers to return to their hometowns to celebrate Tet.
“… Whoever travels back and forth across the homeland/ Remember to return to welcome the loving Spring…”, the lyrics in the song Doan Xuan Ca by author Thanh Son make many people far from home feel moved and sad as the Lunar New Year 2025 is approaching. “Tet” is just one word but is a special occasion of the year for everyone far from home, far from home, far from relatives to gather and reunite after months of struggling to make a living. However, not everyone is lucky enough to return to their loved ones, to reunite with their families at the sacred moment of the new year, especially young workers far from home.
Sympathizing with that sentiment, on January 11, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union coordinated with BVC Media, a number of famous artists, actors, content creators... to organize a Mega Livestream session with the theme "Full Tet - Family reunion". This is a 12-hour online Tet market activity so that young workers, laborers, and consumers across the country can shop for many quality products.
This activity also contributes to the program "Youth Workers' Bus - Spring Bus" to bring 2,000 workers back to their hometown to reunite with their families during the Lunar New Year, launched by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union.
This online Tet market is led and participated by KOLs and KOCs such as Diep Le, actress Phi Phung, actress Phuong Dung, Huyen Phi, Thien Nhan, Kim Xuyen (Chanh Beauty), Lucy Nhu Thao....
The Mega Livestream session was held from 12:00 - 24:00 on January 11, 2025, broadcast by Diep Le's TikTok channel, recorded live at the Hall of the Youth Workers Support Center, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
Within the framework of pre-event activities, as a representative of the program "Full Tet - Family reunion" organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union in coordination with BVC Media, Diep Le visited and presented meaningful and practical gifts to the families of Ms. Dau Thi Dung and Mr. Ngo Trieu Lam, workers in difficult circumstances in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. Here, Diep Le listened to the stories of the two workers about their lives, efforts and wishes to reunite with their loved ones every Tet holiday.
Mr. Le Hoang Minh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, Director of the City Youth Workers Support Center - said: “Since the fourth quarter of 2024, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union has organized many activities to take care of Tet for union members, young people, and workers with the aim of bringing a complete and prosperous spring to everyone. Therefore, we have organized events to promote the role of helping and supporting young people, workers, and laborers.
We are fortunate to receive the support of many businesses and content creators, celebrities such as Diep Le, Chanh Beauty, Thien Nhan, Huyen Phi or artists such as Phi Phung, Phuong Dung... This will be a bridge to help us spread humane and meaningful values, joining hands to bring a warm and prosperous Tet to young people and workers in the city.
