2025 is considered a year of vibrant and effective activities of the Vietnam Volunteer Community (VNV). According to reports, the system has mobilized social resources of more than 313.5 billion VND, successfully implemented 2,508 charity programs. The network has attracted the participation of 68,280 volunteers, awarded 1,944,207 gifts and especially implemented 179 sustainable projects.
Activities cover many essential areas such as: social security, disaster relief, support for poor patients, humanitarian blood donation, environmental protection and school construction.
At the ceremony, the organizing committee awarded 212 prestigious prizes, including: 10 "Golden Star" awards, 100 "Dedication to the Community" awards, 100 "Decent Person" titles and 2 most loved votes. In which, the "Golden Star" category is considered the most important highlight, honoring individuals and groups of volunteers with a persistent dedication process.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Do Van De, Chairman of the Vietnam Volunteer Community, said that the award was initiated in 2017 and has become a prestigious annual activity. The core goal of the program is not only to stop at awarding prizes, but also to connect charitable hearts, spread beautiful actions and towards the sustainable development of social activities in Vietnam.
The biggest difference of this year's award lies in the selection criteria. Instead of just looking at the scale or temporary achievements, the Selection Council focuses on assessing the depth of value: the durability of commitments, continuity in activities and the actual social impact accumulated over time. This is considered a strong transformation of the Vietnam Volunteer Community, shifting from discrete activities to oriented connections, from temporary emotions to sustainable values.
