On December 25, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance (HCMS) came to congratulate and award the prize to Specialist Doctor I Nguyen Quoc Vu Khanh, currently working at Binh Chanh Blood Transfusion and Hematology Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City, author of the song "Social insurance, faith is always in me", who just won the consolation prize in the songwriting contest about social insurance, health insurance (HI), unemployment insurance (UI) policies organized by Vietnam Social Insurance.
Dr. Khanh shared: Social insurance policy, especially health insurance, is one of the civilized and humane policies of our Party and State.
As someone who directly examines and treats many patients, and also works in the hospital's health insurance sector, he understands the humane value of social insurance policies, especially health insurance. Many patients, when suffering from serious, dangerous, incurable diseases, thanks to health insurance, are treated, maintain their health and lives, and reduce the burden on their families and society.
That reality inspired him to compose the song "Social insurance, faith is always in me" with beautiful lyrics and melodies, containing thoughts, feelings and messages that people should participate in health insurance that the musician, who is also a doctor, wants to send to the audience.
Mr. Tran Dung Ha - Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance - emphasized: Social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance are important pillars in the social security system, contributing to ensuring the rights and stabilizing the lives of millions of workers across the country.
The contest acts as a bridge connecting the social insurance policy and the people through music. The melodies and lyrics not only touch the heart but also help people better understand the meaning, rights and responsibilities when participating in social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance.
The contributions of musicians not only enrich the Vietnamese music treasure but also play an important role in promoting and raising people's awareness of social security policies.
The songwriting contest on social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies organized by Vietnam Social Security had 112 entries, and the organizers selected the 6 best works to award prizes. Among them, Ho Chi Minh City had the song "Health insurance, companion" by Nguyen Van Hau won the B prize and the song "Social insurance, always believe in me" by Nguyen Quoc Vu Khanh won the consolation prize.
Previously, on December 24, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance also went to District 12, Ho Chi Minh City to congratulate and award the author Nguyen Van Hau.
