On August 10, information from the Khanh Hoa Province Union of Scenic Plants said that the unit had just coordinated with Yang Bay Tourist Park to organize the 3rd Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Ornamental Flower Competition in 2025.
The contest attracted nearly 120 artisans in Khanh Hoa and the provinces of Ben Tre, Can Tho, Tien Giang, Lam Dong, Long An... with more than 180 entries.

According to Mr. Phan Minh Kinh - Chairman of Khanh Hoa Parastor Association, the contest is one of the first activities after Khanh Hoa Parastor Association merged.
The contest is divided into 4 main groups: forest spread group, Dendrobium group, Cattleya group and synthetic spread group.
Although not the main season of orchids, artisans and flower enthusiasts from many provinces and cities have brought their works here to gather and compete.

Unlike previous flower pageants, this year the organizing committee decided to choose Yang Bay Tourist Park as a meeting place.
The purpose is to honor the natural identity, bringing flowers back to the mountains and forests - the origin of this flower. This is also the place where many endemic planks of Khanh Hoa were discovered.

Bringing the beauty of orchids to the community through eco-tourism is also a way for artisans to preserve and promote the value of orchids in the spiritual life of Vietnamese people.
With outstanding criteria for trees, leaves, flowers, varieties and the shape of each row of pigs, the organizing committee awarded a special prize to author Nguyen Thi Kim Loan, from the Orchid Loan garden (Bao Loc, Lam Dong province) for the superficial sand disease (Cattleya Chan Hsiu Jewl).

This is also the author who won the first prize in the wild sunflower group, with the work beard carving with its unique beauty.
Mr. Le Dung Lam - Director of Yang Bay Tourist Area shared that with more than 500 hectares, Yang Bay Tourist Park converges waterfalls, mineral streams, diverse animal and plant ecosystems and Raglay cultural identity.
This used to be a place where many wild sunflowers were preserved. However, after the COVID-19 pandemic, the park's existing ornamental flowers have gradually declined.

With the strong recovery of Khanh Hoa tourism activities in recent times, Yang Bay Tourist Park is actively recreating the landscape, targeting visitors who love the nature of the mountains and forests.

One of the products that the unit is making efforts to restore is to rebuild the orchard with many orchids suitable for the land of Yang Bay.
The goal is to preserve and serve tourists when coming to visit, relax and enjoy nature in the western area of Khanh Hoa.
