Attending the 2024 Green Star Awards ceremony, Tong Tong Kitsakorn and Plaifah Nutchaporn just landed in Ho Chi Minh City and immediately participated in a short exchange with the media and Vietnamese fans on the morning of January 11, before attending the gala honoring the same evening at Nguyen Du Stadium.
In addition to saying "New Year's greetings" in Vietnamese, Tong Tong and Plaifah also shared their interesting perspectives on the success of the movie "Thanh mai truc ma" and opened up about their efforts to complete their roles in the movie.
At the 2024 Green Star Awards, the film Childhood Friends was listed in the top 3 most favorite foreign films.
Tong Tong Kitsakorn and Plaifah Nutchaporn were also nominated for "Most Favorite Foreign Actor/Actress" at the voting portal over the past 27 days.
During the exchange, a Vietnamese reporter asked, "When you found out you were nominated for the 2024 Green Star Award in Vietnam, how did you feel and were you determined to win?"
Both artists said, "there is no reason to refuse to participate in such a grand award because we are extremely surprised and honored to be nominated for the Green Star Award". Plaifah also bowed to thank Green Star for creating an opportunity for the audience, media and Vietnamese press to know more about both of them.
