Towards the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2026) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2026), from August 21 to 23, the City Culture - Cinema Center organizes a free movie screening for people and tourists at Le Do Cinema (No. 46 Tran Phu, Hai Chau ward).
Audiences will enjoy special cinematic works for free at 7 pm every night.
At 7 pm on August 21, the program opens with the movie "Death Battle in the Air" (duration 118 minutes). Next, at 7 pm on August 22, the cinema introduces the movie "Hanoi Winter 46" (duration 95 minutes). Closing the screening session at 7 pm on August 23 is the movie "Old Lady Going Wild" (duration 111 minutes).
Film screening activities contribute to widely propagating the historical significance and contemporary value of the August Revolution of 1945 and National Day September 2nd; thereby educating patriotism, national pride, and fostering revolutionary ideals for the younger generation. At the same time, the program arouses the spirit of dedication and responsibility of cadres, party members, union members, youth and people from all walks of life in the cause of building and developing the country.
