Singer Hoang Dung officially released the song "Nói nhỏ em nghe". This is a product in collaboration with Korean artist Dept, and is also introduced in two versions: Vietnamese on Hoang Dung's platforms and English named "Say You Remember" on Dept's channel.
The song is composed by Dept, the melody, Hoang Dung wrote the Vietnamese lyrics. The MV was filmed in Tuy Hoa (Dak Lak), exploiting the sea scenery and nature to tell the story of memories still preserved after a broken love affair.
Bringing the typical pop-R&B color of Dept and Hoang Dung's familiar narrative quality, the song does not follow the way of telling about breakups with fierce emotions but chooses everyday details such as coffee cups, rooms or familiar streets to evoke memories of old love.
Notably, Dept also sings in Vietnamese in the new product. According to Hoang Dung, the Korean male artist actively implemented this as a way to send a thank you to Vietnamese fans.
Dept (Lee Ho Jung) is a Korean singer, songwriter, producer and DJ. He once created a spread on social networks with the songs "Van Gogh" and "Winter Blossom", and also came to Vietnam to perform and organize concerts many times.
Hoang Dung said that the collaboration started in 2025 when Dept sent an invitation. However, due to being busy completing the album "Xoay von", the two can only implement the project in 2026.
The male singer shared that he did not change the original structure but focused on translating the lyrics into Vietnamese to suit the domestic audience.
The audience seems to really like my conversion of foreign lyrics, so I continue to do that in this project as a contribution to our listeners," Hoang Dung said.
This is not the first time Hoang Dung has collaborated with Korean artists. Previously, he had collaborated with 10CM in the Vietnamese version of the song "Phonecert", receiving many positive feedbacks from the audience.
Besides a new music project, Hoang Dung has a tight schedule when simultaneously participating in the program "Anh Trai Vuot Ngan Chong Gai" (Older Brother Overcoming Thousands of Obstacles). The male singer participated from the Introduction round to Public Performance 1 as the leader of Nha Hoa Lua in the performance "Let Me Go".
At the same time, he is also preparing for the third night of the "Xoay tròn" concert, scheduled to take place on September 6th in Hanoi.
Sharing about implementing many projects at the same time, Hoang Dung said he is lucky to have a team of companions, helping to balance between music activities, television programs and concerts.
