Binz released his debut album called "Meeting Again", marking his return after the EP "Keep Cam Ca". Not simply a music product, this album is likened by the male rapper to a "new birth certificate", recording the journey to find the original person of "Trung Dan" at the age of 38.
With 10 songs, "Meeting Again" has a clear inner color, different from the "bad boy" image that was associated with Binz through the hit Bigcityboi. Throughout the album, the male rapper recounts his journey of maturity, from a loving, rebellious boy to a calm man, knowing how to face hurt and learn how to heal.
The special feature of the project lies in Binz's way of blurring the boundary between rap, melody, poetry and narrative quality. The album is built like a time travel journey, where the artist faces memories, fears and hidden corners that he once wanted to hide.
In the visualizer series accompanying the album, audiences can see many different versions of Binz through each stage of life. From the image of a boy holding a bottle of water singing in the dark, a boy worshiping love, to the "red flag" symbol of "Bigcityboi", all finally converge in the image of an adult man wearing a black vest.
The album also attracted attention thanks to a series of collaborations with many artists with their own colors such as Phan Manh Quynh, Obito, Ha Le and SUGI. Among them, the song "Em" in collaboration with SOOBIN is considered a surprising highlight when bringing a more poignant ballad color than the previous version.
According to sharing from the crew, Binz organized pre-album listening sessions combined with art painting activities to connect with colleagues, relatives and the Homies fan community. Through this, the male rapper wants to convey the message of giving up old wounds to return to enjoy real life.
Real name is Le Nguyen Trung Dan, Binz is one of the outstanding rappers of the generation of artists who grew up from underground. He has made his mark with a series of products such as "Bigcityboi", "Hit me up", "Duyen kiep cam ca" and won many major domestic and international awards, including the title of Best Asian Artist Vietnam at MAMA 2020. The album "Meeting Again" is considered an important turning point in the male artist's musical journey after many years of pursuing a personal and rebellious image.
