The film reveals a series of dramatic climaxes revolving around 4 central characters: Ms. Hai Thuong (Le Khanh), younger brother Ut Luc (Thuan Nguyen), sister-in-law Hai Au (Uyen An) and Truong (Quoc Truong).
The teaser opens with a birthday party, which is also a parents' memorial service, a place that was supposed to be connected by love but exploded with conflict. The searching eyes, harsh lines and the clash between sister-in-law and sister-in-law quickly pushed the tense atmosphere to the extreme. In particular, Thuan Nguyen's closing line: "What don't you forbid" and his painful expression evoked a haunting family tragedy.
Director Vu Thanh Vinh affirmed: "If it were not for Le Khanh, I don't know who could carry the role of Thuong. This is a psychologically heavy role, requiring intense inner struggles. Le Khanh, Thuan Nguyen, Uyen An and Quoc Truong spent more than 12 hours filming continuously to complete the banquet section, bringing emotional weight to the audience.
In addition to acting, the teaser also impressed with details imbued with Vietnamese culture: a death anniversary table with familiar Western dishes, both reminiscent of the homeland and highlighting the message of family - origin.
The film revolves around the two sisters Thuong - Luc growing up in the incident of losing their parents, and then her sister's boundless love gradually becomes an imposition. As an adult, Luc longed for his own path, creating increasingly fierce conflicts with her.
The film is expected to be released nationwide from October 3, 2025.
