The cost of producing a movie is not small, most other filmmakers call for sponsorship to share the economic burden as well as have more conditions to invest in movies at the best limit.
However, with the movie "Two Salts", director Vu Thanh Vinh was the only investor. Although many units offered to join hands when they heard he was making a movie, after consideration, he still decided. I plan to pay out of my own pocket to take care of everything.
Director Vu Thanh Vinh said that making his first film, he decided this would be his own adventure, accepting trade-offs to focus on the artistic quality of the film and not put too much emphasis on profit.
To ensure the quality of acting in the film, nearly 40 actors in the film were carefully selected, including inviting big names such as: Artist Quyen Linh , People's Artist Hong Van, People's Artist Viet Anh, Meritorious Artist Cong Ninh, ... appearing together in a movie is not easy.
In particular, with the house fire scene, the male director did not want to use the effects that he had built and then burned the real house. The rain scene in the movie also invested in a lot of water trucks and rain-making props to serve different shooting angles.
Notably, these two scenes both had to use a lot of salt. The film crew spent a large amount of money to buy tons of salt from local people to serve the two important scenes above.
Thanks to careful investment in the setting, the movie "Hai Salt" has realistic images, most importantly, the actors' emotions are pushed to a climax, touching the viewer.
The movie "Two Salts" opens on August 30 in theaters nationwide.
