The S-Seeds Fund - a fund for caring for, supporting and training more than 100 orphans in difficult circumstances - has just organized orientation activities. The fund has completed the targets to help many cases go to school, thinking openly towards good things.
At the annual meeting of the S-Seeds Fund, actor Hieu Nguyen was introduced to the new role of the fund's CEO.
Hieu Nguyen said that he continues to spread and accompany children in practicing their personality, building a sustainable future, above all to give them the opportunity to steal their books to go to school.
"From 2024, we have developed a set of criteria for approving the grant of scholarships to support the right subjects, especially those in difficult circumstances, to study hard and practice personality. With a new assessment system, at the end of the school year, students evaluate their own results and plan for the new year. The progress through each semester determines whether they continue to receive scholarships or not, Hieu Nguyen shared.
This year, the fund focuses on developing positive thinking and applying it to daily life. Next is to perfect the organizational apparatus, ensuring transparency, methodicalness and compliance with the law. Especially the reporting regime to management agencies.
Actress Hieu Nguyen emphasized: "We not only support tuition fees but also want to help them build their personality, life skills and self-confidence. The biggest goal is to train strong, free people who are capable of creating positive impacts for the community".

Ms. Pham Ha Thuy, Deputy Director of the Fund and Head of the S-Seeds Training Department, shared about the personality training and development program for children at family shelters. The program is designed to help children become confident, appreciate life and care for those around them.
Another important habit to practice is reading. Students are encouraged to find books and share content through video clips. Each topic will be deployed through 30 video clips, sent to shelters and families every Sunday. Students will practice according to instructions and send the exercise in two forms: recording the clip and writing a diary.
In fact, the program also faces many challenges. The fund focuses on supporting children in difficult circumstances but have the will to study and practice. However, there were cases where some students did not meet the requirements, causing the fund to temporarily suspend support.
Some children fall into more difficult family circumstances, such as losing their parents due to illness or pandemic, affecting both their academic ability and personality. Maintaining their progress therefore faces many obstacles.
The fund hopes to closely coordinate with parents to clearly understand their needs. However, approaching and receiving feedback from parents is still a big challenge.
The COVID-19 pandemic has also had a strong impact on many families, causing some students to face more difficulties. The fund has made efforts to support them to overcome this stage.
