Go Min Si is a notable actor when he plays the villain Sung Ah - a mysterious guest at Jeon Young Ha's (Kim Yun Seok) motel in the mysterious horror movie "The Frog".
According to the actress, to prepare for the project, she tried to avoid watching similar genres or characters. Instead, she "opened" herself to many different genres and continuously explored scripts on her own.
Thanks to that, during filming, Go Min Si discovered new aspects of herself that she did not know. "If this experience can be a stepping stone to my next project - where I can show another side of my acting, I will be really happy" - she said.
Sharing more with MK Sports, the Korean star said that when filming "The Silent Forest", she paid special attention to her diet.
"I lost a lot of weight - down to as low as 43kg. During the filming of 'Sweet Home' I weighed 46kg, but I lost more for this role. I wanted my face to show clearer, exuding a raw, wild look. I hope that feeling will appear and I want to look strange."
As Go Min Si explained, the character Sung Ah she plays must pay attention not only to the internal aspect but also the external aspect.
"Because the character needs to appear beautiful and attractive, I had to think a lot. I tried a shoulder-length bob hairstyle, added waves, and carefully considered the outfit. I tried many different styles. and choose outfits that match the color of the scene we're filming in."
Thanks to her own efforts, Go Min Si brings viewers a new image. As an actress, she hopes to be able to reach and bring new things to viewers. "I feel nervous every time my new and diverse appearance is captured on camera. It's both new and exciting."
