"Miss Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage" 2024 is a contest that wishes to honor the Vietnamese Ao Dai.
The final night opened with the performances of “Non la ao dai” and “Em xinh” with the participation of the top 30 Vietnamese beauties competing in their gentle beauty in ao dai.
After an impressive performance in Ao Dai by designer Thoa Tran, the judges announced the list of the top 16 finalists.
The 16 contestants continued to shine on stage, graceful and elegant in gorgeous evening gowns by designer Han Phuong.
After an impressive performance in evening gowns, the top 7 best participated in the behavioral round.
In the behavioral round, beauty Hoang Chau Anh received a question from Miss Ngoc Chau: "The Vietnamese women's ao dai has existed for a long time and has gone through many stages and changes in the nation's history, but until now it still affirms its value and is associated with the image of Vietnamese women. Why do you think it has been preserved like that?"
Chau Anh answered bilingually: “In my opinion, the reason why the ao dai can survive through the ups and downs of history and is still closely associated with the image of Vietnamese women is for two main reasons:
Firstly, the ao dai is not only a costume but also a cultural symbol, honoring the beauty of the body and soul of Vietnamese women, gentle, resilient, and full of courage. Over time, the ao dai still holds a special place in the hearts of Vietnamese people, and is the pride of the nation.
Second, the ao dai is always renewed to suit each period without losing its core features. That flexibility helps the ao dai both preserve its traditional identity and become an endless source of inspiration in modern fashion...”.
After the behavioral round, the top 3 were named: Ha Hong Gam, Hoang Chau Anh and Do Thu Hien.
In the end, with convincing answers and impressive performances, surpassing 30 best contestants, Beauty Hoang Chau Anh (contestant number 28) from Cao Bang was splendidly crowned Miss Ao Dai Heritage Vietnam 2024.
In addition to the Miss title, Hoang Chau Anh also won two additional awards: Talented Beauty and Best Behavior Beauty.
The title of 1st Runner-up went to contestant Do Thu Hien (SBD 136 from Quang Ninh); 2nd Runner-up went to contestant Ha Hong Gam (SBD 069 from Thanh Hoa); 3rd Runner-up went to contestant Nguyen Thi Thao (SBD 070 from Hai Duong) and 4th Runner-up went to contestant Le Thi Ngoc Lan (SBD 007 from Thanh Hoa).
Along with the crown, the new Miss Ao Dai Heritage Vietnam 2024 received a prize worth 500 million VND from the organizing committee.
The prize for 1st runner-up is 300 million VND, 2nd runner-up is 200 million VND; 3rd runner-up is 150 million VND and 4th runner-up is 100 million VND.
