Inspired by an event that caused a stir in Saigon in 1963 (the jealousy case of a Saigon dancer), the film opens a dramatic story revolving around the confrontation between two powerful women in the magnificent but turbulent urban setting of the 1960s.
Madames Thanh Sac marks Thanh Hang's return with a dual role: both taking on the female lead and participating in the project for the first time as a producer.
