Recently, he attracted attention when launching the project "Continuing the Story of Peace" - a publication combining books and music, bringing a unique multimedia reading - watching - listening experience.
Sharing about the idea, Nguyen Van Chung said that releasing music books has been a long-standing dream. Since his early days, he has printed children's music collections with color paintings, music motifs and QR codes to listen to music, mainly given to schools.
However, due to funding constraints, the project is only limited to a small scale. When the song "Continuing to write a story of peace" was well received by audiences with billions of views on various platforms, he had the opportunity to fully fulfill his dream. This music book brings together many songs about children, family, pure love, and the homeland, arranged as a journey from childhood to adulthood.
The musician revealed the character "little Hoa Binh" in the work was inspired by the title song, representing the young generation born and raised in peace. Everyone of us needs to nurture gratitude and a desire for a good and useful life. Hoa Binh is the image of a child who loves singing, loves good things - that is also the message I want to convey, he shared.
Behind the success, Nguyen Van Chung admits that the biggest challenge is funding and a balance between music, content, story and release method. He hopes the work will spread strongly thanks to the support of the public. In particular, each book sold will contribute 20,000 VND to the Vietnam Fund for Children with Disabilities - where he is an ambassador.
I believe that everyone can continue writing the story of peace with simple actions: Study better, work better, live better. For me, composing meaningful songs is a way to contribute to the country, the musician emphasized.
