Contrary to the fun and magical atmosphere of circus films that were previously revealed, the trailer of the movie "Con ke ba nghe" unexpectedly opens up a deep color tone, delving into family tragedy and the rift between father and son.
Mr. Thai (Kieu Minh Tuan) is a taciturn, dry circus artist who is not good at expressing emotions. Meanwhile, Minh (Hao Khang) - his teenage son - is sensitive, easily hurt, and always longs to be listened to.
The father's prolonged silence, coupled with the shock of losing his mother - who is also a circus artist - has become a silent wound, pushing the two fathers and sons further apart. The suppressed conflicts, the unspoken emotions make the distance between them invisible but heavy, leading to a series of family upheavals revealed in the trailer.
Although exploiting pain and loss, the movie "Con ke ba nghe" does not choose a tragic storytelling style. On the contrary, the film carries a healing spirit, interwoven with gentle, sometimes humorous everyday moments, along with colorful circus performances. Circus is not only a setting but also a symbol of the fragile balance of life and family.

The film is told in parallel from the perspective of both father and son, true to the name "Con ke ba nghe". Each detail is a step on the journey of father and son learning how to open their hearts, dialogue and understand each other. The private story of the small family therefore becomes a common slice, touching the emotions of many generations of audiences in the modern pace of life.
The film is directed by Do Quoc Trung, Tran Thanh Huy plays the role of creative director, and will be released nationwide from January 16, 2026, with special screenings on January 14 and 15, 2026.
