The collaboration between one of the prominent K-pop girl groups today and the superhero blockbuster is expected to add more attraction to the movie before its release date.
Through Warner Bros. Pictures' official social media channels, five members including Sakura, Kim Chae-won, Heo Yun-jin, Hong Eun-chae and Kazuha expressed their excitement to accompany the film. The group also sent wishes to Vietnamese fans and hoped that the audience would welcome both Supergirl and their new music product.
The song chosen for this project is Celebration, from LE SSERAFIM's second album Pureflow Pt. 1. On May 31, the group officially released a special version called Celebration (Supergirl ver. ) on global digital music platforms.
According to the introduction, the remix version is refreshed with a faster tempo, combining modern pop elements to create a vibrant source of energy, suitable for the spirit of the superhero movie. This is also a notable collaboration between a K-pop band and the DC film brand in 2026.
In particular, LE SSERAFIM's song will appear in the theatrical version in Korea and many Asian markets, including Vietnam. However, the members kept secret the time the song appeared in the film, considering it a secret for the audience.
This combination is considered a step to help Supergirl get closer to young Asian audiences, while continuing to affirm LE SSERAFIM's global influence. In recent years, many K-pop artists have participated in international film projects, but the fact that a song is remixed specifically for the film is still a noteworthy highlight.
Expected to premiere from June 26, 2026, Supergirl is one of DC's most anticipated blockbusters this summer. With LE SSERAFIM's participation in the soundtrack, the work is expected to bring new experiences to movie and music lovers.
