Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, "Taxi Driver" is a drama about a mysterious taxi service that takes revenge on victims who cannot get justice through the law.
After two seasons on air, "Taxi Driver" has received love for its exploitation of many hot topics, talented cast, and humorous details.
During season 1, the show achieved a peak viewership rating of 16%. Season 2 ended with a rating of 21%, marking the show's highest achievement since its premiere and setting a new record for ratings compared to miniseries (short TV series) in 2023, according to Nielsen Korea.
Along with that, Lee Je Hoon also won the Daesang (Grand Prize) at the 2023 SBS Drama Awards for his role as Kim Do Gi in the movie "Taxi Driver 2".
On October 8, after Sports Seoul reported that Lee Je Hoon, Pyo Ye Jin, and Kim Eui Sung would continue to play their roles in "Taxi Driver 3", Lee Je Hoon's management company Company ON also confirmed that the actor would return for season 3.

"Taxi Driver 3" is expected to begin filming in the second half of this year and is scheduled to air in 2025.
