The album includes many songs that exploit folk materials and familiar fairy tales such as Nguu Lang Chuc Nu (combined with Hoa Minzy - Tuan Cry), Nghieng Nuoc Thuong Than (Ha Myo), Kieu (Noi Thuong Tu) (Tran Manh Cuong), or compositions with revolutionary colors such as Cu hon vo tra (Tuan Cry - 24k Right). According to Masew, the album Xua is a "mental child" expressing her desire to tell the story of her homeland through music. He shared: From a boy making remixes to the turning point of Tuy Am, I have been traveling for nearly a decade now. The album Xua is a milestone in looking back on that journey, and is also a gift to the audience who have accompanied.
Among the songs, Nguu Lang Chuc Nu received a lot of attention thanks to the collaboration of the trio Hoa Minzy - Tuan Cry - Masew, promising to continue to be attractive after Bac Bling. With a unique arrangement style, both modern and stained with traditional colors, Masew continues to affirm his musical personality that is difficult to mix.
Previously, he had made his mark with a series of hits Tuy Am, A Loi, Ai No, Ap Duyen, Thi Mau and was the music director for the 3D animated film De Men: The adventure to Xom Lam Lang. Masew is also the first Vietnamese producer to reach 1 billion listens on YouTube.
With the album Xua, Masew proves his efforts to blend the national spirit with the contemporary breath. After this project, he said he will continue to accompany many famous artists, promising 2025 to be an explosive year in his career.
