After 6 years, "Kpop goddess" Im Yoona (SNSD) returned to Vietnam with a fan meeting called Bon Appetit, Your Majesty - YOONA Drama Fan Meeting, held at Nguyen Du Stadium (HCMC) on the evening of October 18. The event attracted thousands of spectators, taking place in a vibrant atmosphere amid the "fever" of the movie Ngu Tru of baotion starring Yoona.
The person chosen to host the program is MC Thanh Thanh Huyen - a familiar face with a fluent bilingual approach, known as the "3,000-word MC". She impressed by both ensuring professionalism and bringing many natural, close moments between Yoona and Vietnamese fans.
In the program, Thanh Thanh Huyen skillfully introduced typical cultural features of Vietnam such as conical hats, pho, and also instructed Yoona to say the Vietnamese sentence "You guys are wonderful".
The moment she instructed the female idol to pose with a conical hat quickly went viral on social media, receiving tens of thousands of shares. Many audiences commented that Yoona looks "like a Vietnamese girl", while MC Thanh Thanh Huyen was praised for being tactful in both creating a cheerful atmosphere and spreading the image of Vietnam to international artists.

The female MC also prepared a special gift for Yoona - a hammock made of precious wood, carved with 4-leaf grass and 4 leaves, placed in a red box printed with a Vietnamese bamboo tree and a handwritten congratulatory letter. The gift bearing the strong imprint of Vietnamese culture moved Korean fans and crew.
Sharing after the event, Thanh Thanh Huyen said she spent many hours discussing with the Korean crew to adjust the script, ensuring the program was smooth and harmonious between the two languages. She jokingly said: "The biggest pressure is... Yoona is so beautiful, sometimes I get bored with watching and forget the script".
Thanh Thanh Huyen believes that each fan meeting is not only a meeting between idols and fans but also an opportunity for cultural exchange. "My secret is safety first, shining later. I always try to keep the program on time but still bring memorable moments, she shared.
