After a period of absence, MONO officially returns to the music race with the MV "Cong tu van tho".

On June 19, MONO released the MV "Cong tu van tho", the opening song for the second studio album expected to be released in 2026. Right from the first images, the product has shown a large investment in terms of idea and setting.

The MV opens with a green rice field scene, where MONO appears in a floral embroidered ao dai, accompanying a white horse. The image of a horse carrying 15 sandals symbolizing 15 songs in the new album is considered a metaphor for the musical journey that the male singer is about to introduce to the audience.

The most notable highlight of the MV lies in the selection of filming locations in Hue Citadel, especially the Ngo Mon area. Red corridors, ancient royal architecture and traditional cultural details appear throughout the product, creating an artistic and visually rich space.

Not only exploiting the beauty of heritage, MONO also combines modern elements in storytelling. Interspersed among the court-colored frames are cheerful, close-to-youth segments, helping the overall MV become softer and more accessible.

In terms of music, "Cong tu van tho" has a romantic color with the image of a lovesick young man, loving with the language of poetry, moon and stars and images rich in literary quality. The lyrics use many Sino-Vietnamese words such as "ngoc nhan", "thien hoa", "thi nhan", creating a difference compared to most current love songs.

The song still retains its youthfulness thanks to its catchy melody and easy-to-remember chorus. The combination of classical material in words and modern emotions helps the product have its own color in the Vietnamese music market.

As the opening product for his second studio album, "Cong tu van tho" not only marks MONO's return but also partly reveals his new artistic direction.
