“Album III - Heritage” is the brainchild that the Ngu Cung band has nurtured for 10 years with works that are full of their own style, bringing the breath of folk heritage into Rock music.
"Preserving heritage is not only about actions, but also about the awareness of each individual" - leader Tran Thang affirmed.
Anyone can tell stories about Vietnam’s heritage, but music is the most perfect way to remember and engrave them in the mind. Intangible cultural heritages, natural heritages, and huge historical treasures… are the inspiration for the Ngu Cung band to write and preserve heritage through their music.
Ngu Cung hopes that the public will accept and feel the heritage, the beauty of culture, and the beautiful stories that the band tells through their works.
According to the band Ngu Cung, the “Rock quality” in the new album will be a special highlight. It is still the intense, fierce feeling of traditional Rock music, but combined flexibly with the sophistication of ballads, a color that blends with the times but is different from the market, but does not lose the quality and musical taste of Ngu Cung.
The album is a collection of 11 tracks, including products that the band has invested in and released before. The remaining works will be works with lyrics that are the legacy of the late musician Tuan Long, although completed before his death but not yet introduced to the public.
In particular, this album also features the "classic" and dedicated collaboration of Ngu Cung with many other artists including: Musician Nguyen Duc Cuong, musician Nguyen Duc Long, singer Tang Ngan Ha, musician Nguyen Tien Dat, singer Phuong Thanh, bassist Nguyen Minh Duc...
The return to the music scene of the Ngu Cung band also marked the addition of new members: Hong Phi (main vocal), Xuan Bach (Bassist) and Hoang Bac (Guitarist). Although they are young artists, their musical thinking and meticulousness in their works have been invited to collaborate by band leader Tran Thang.
After "Album III - Heritage", Ngu Cung will launch many big projects, including MV projects with "huge" investments in locations that are magnificent natural heritages.
