9 months after the success of their first charity single "Not dam Vol. 1, People's Artist Mai Hoa officially returns to the audience in a new album - "Hanoi Flag of Flowers".
The female singer brought music lovers an interesting surprise when "breathing life" into the songs not only with her characteristic deep voice but also sublimated with natural, clear, bright and emotional high-back music notes.
This is also not the first album with a title mentioning Hanoi in the musical journey of People's Artist Mai Hoa. Previously, she released the album "Hanoi 49" with 10 songs in the pre-war music genre - immortal, typical works of Vietnamese modern music.

However, this time, People's Artist Mai Hoa chose the entire work about the land of a thousand years of culture including: "Hanoi, the heart is pink" (Nguyen Duc Toan), "Remembering Hanoi Autumn" (Trinh Cong Son), "Green Hanoi Sky" (Van Ky), "Hanoi and Me" (Le Vinh), "Hanoi Autumn" (Vu Thanh), "Remembering Hanoi" (Hoang Hiep), "Hanoi in the flight season" (Hu Xuan), "Hanoi Afternoon" (Vu Quang Trung) and "My sister" (Trong Dai)...
In which, "Chi minh" was set to music by musician Trong Dai from the poem "Fore a day of birth" by poet Doan Thi Tao, although there is no mention of Hanoi, but it is a familiar song in the film "Nguoi Ha Noi" (1996) performed by director Hoang Tich Chi and Doan Le (sister of poet Doan Thi Tao).
People's Artist Mai Hoa said that she has lived and been attached to this land for more than 30 years, she wants to do something meaningful to join in the joy of the nation. Therefore, 6 months ago, the female singer decided to realize the idea of making a album to collect songs about Hanoi.

For People's Artist Mai Hoa, artists, especially the generation that can be said to be "not old yet, young yet" will not dare to take risks to find something too different and new, and will not find a way to "tail" the audience.
"If there is a breakthrough, I will only do a little but it must still be from a safety perspective, in the spirit that the products I make must ensure the highest quality and best for the audience. What I do and put out in the album, although new, still ensures artistry, not uncertain experiences - People's Artist Mai Hoa affirmed.
The album also marks the collaboration between People's Artist Mai Hoa and famous meticulous musician - Hong Kien. He is also a son of Hanoi, so he loves and understands the land where he was born and raised.
The relationship between a Hanoi musician and a singer who loves Hanoi, and the 7X generation, has created a musical product that is both familiar and new, but above all, full of love for the thousand-year-old land.

Making an album of songs about Hanoi for musician Hong Kien alone is undeniable, it is like motivation for a child of Hanoi like him to strive, dare to accept the challenge to do it right away.
According to musician Hong Kien, the 9 songs in the album are sung by People's Artist Mai Hoa as if telling the story of Hanoi in the past, taking the audience along with the voice to "travel" on the streets of Hanoi, enjoying the taste of Hanoi's autumn, admiring the civilization of Hanoi blending with the remains of old Hanoi as well as wanting to create a Hanoi scene that the audience will feel themselves in the works when listening to.
Mai Hoas voice is deep, thick and powerful, the notes in the deep range are her own mark in each work. There are many projects and albums about Hanoi, but I think this will be a new touchpoint mixed with the familiarity of Mai Hoa's voice" - musician Hong Kien commented.
