Born from the famous work of two late composers Ha Trieu - Hoa Phuong, Ms. Hang's Daughter once made a deep impression in the hearts of many generations of audiences with an emotional story about fate, love and human dignity. In this new staging, the creative team chose the "inspired" form, maintaining the core spirit of the original work but adjusting the structure, tempo and narration to better suit today's audience tastes.
The play is written by Thach Ngoc Hoang, directed by Ngoc Duyen, with artistic advice from People's Artist Tran Ngoc Giau. Instead of focusing heavily on conventional performances like traditional cai luong, the new version focuses on exploiting psychological depth, increasing drama and creating close emotional connection with modern audiences.
One of the notable highlights of the play Ms. Hang's Daughter is a lineup of famous and experienced stage artists, including People's Artist Huu Quoc, Meritorious Artist Minh Nhi, Meritorious Artist Tuyet Thu, Viet Huong, Cong Danh and many young artists such as Maika, Bao Kun, Bao Bao, Thach Thao, Quach Thanh Nhan, Trung Tin, Song Duy, Lu Thien Quan, Minh Huy, baby Bella Cat Tien, Nam Sang, Hong Gia Thuan...

The combination of veteran artists and the next generation creates many performance colors, helping the play both maintain its traditional depth and bring a new breath. In which, the role of Le Hang played by Meritorious Artist Tuyet Thu is considered the focus. The female artist leads the audience through many levels of emotions, from love, desire to tragedy and torment. In particular, the segment where Tuyet Thu performs tango on stage creates visual and emotional highlights, contributing to clearly depicting the inner world of the character.
Besides, the character My Ha played by Viet Huong also brings a new color to the play. This is the image of a woman with many injuries but choosing a different way of life, creating a thought-provoking knot in the drama. Viet Huong continues to show seriousness with the stage when taking on edgy, psychologically rich roles.
In addition to acting, the play is also invested in terms of art and technology. Tomi Truong's stage design, Tran Giang's music, and modern sound and lighting systems help the performance space be seamless and emotional.
