Recently, Pham Thoai has been mentioned a lot through his volunteer activities, supporting the people in the North affected by storms and floods. In early September, he proactively donated 1.2 billion VND.
Talking about this, he affirmed that doing charity comes from the heart: "I was born into a poor family, wading through mud and crossing streams is very normal. I have never forgotten my starting point and always feel grateful and proud of myself for trying to get to where I am today. I do charity from the heart, not afraid of statements and not afraid of anything."
According to Pham Thoai, in October, he will release a short historical film in vertical format, filmed in Hue with the participation of famous actors. In addition to the story of love between men and women, he wants to convey a message of love for his homeland and country and insert images of the beauty of the ancient land of Hue.
He shared that from the first time he came to Hue, he loved the people, the beautiful scenery and the way of life here. "I decided to make a film because I love this land so much. I am passionate about ancient costumes and love time travel elements, so in my first short film project, my crew and I discussed how to incorporate this element into stories about love and life."
Initially, Pham Thoai planned to produce the project with a budget of 2 billion VND. However, after 6 months of production, the budget increased to 5 billion VND. However, Pham Thoai and his crew still decided to go all-in to satisfy their passion.
"I'm the type of person who doesn't want to do anything, but if I do it, I have to do it thoroughly, so I don't think about anything else, I just do it first. But since this is my first time making a film, people may find it unfinished, but I hope people will watch it for entertainment and judge how I act."
