The song not only marks the male singer's new composition, but also expresses the orientation of harmonizing between Asian cultural identity and modern music spirit, suitable for the global New Year atmosphere.
In the days leading up to Tet, Phan Dinh Tung officially released the MV "Happy New Year" on the YouTube platform, closing the "Dinh Music" journey. Introducing the MV in Hanoi, Phan Dinh Tung and Phuong Thanh performed live the song "Co le nao" (Could it be) (Last Autumn) stirring up the atmosphere of the auditorium.
Besides sharing about the MV "Happy New Year" and upcoming plans, the male singer also continuously performed a series of songs belonging to the "Dinh Music" project. With this passionate project, he and the band practiced from early afternoon to bring meticulous and emotional performances to the audience.

It is known that "Happy New Year" directly written by Phan Dinh Tung marked the ending point of the journey of 7 MVs in the "Dinh Music – New Visual New Me" series, and at the same time sent a New Year wish with a positive spirit, towards peace and community connection.
Sharing about the song's formation process, Phan Dinh Tung said that his initial idea was to close the project series with a song with the theme "New Year - New Year - Tet" - as a complete emotional ending. To make the song easy to listen to, easy to remember and easy to sing along, Phan Dinh Tung chose a simple structure, inspired by the familiar composition of the song "Birthday Song".
Accordingly, "Happy New Year" has a concise melody, including 4 main lines, and also has Vietnamese and English versions, to help audiences in many countries and different cultures easily access and harmonize in the moment of welcoming the New Year.

This is also Phan Dinh Tung's latest composition, oriented as a song connecting the New Year and Lunar New Year, universal and easy to empathize with audiences in many cultures. "Happy New Year" therefore carries the spirit of harmony between Asian identity and modern music language.
Through the song, Phan Dinh Tung wants to spread a humanistic message about spiritual life in modern life. Starting from the reality that people are often drawn into work, financial and family responsibilities pressures at the end of the year, "Happy New Year" directs listeners back to simple but sustainable values such as smiles, inner peace and positive energy.
Although built on a simple melody, "Happy New Year" is still refreshed in terms of musical language to increase modernity and reaching young audiences. The highlight of the song is the Rap part that intersects genres, contributing to creating a new color.

Phan Dinh Tung invited Rapper GDucky to participate in the project. After a process of exchange and co-creation, GDucky completed 2 rap verses suitable for the general spirit of the song, which are expected to bring attractiveness and difference to this New Year's opening song.
In parallel with the music part, the MV "Happy New Year" directed by Kien Ung also chose a different approach compared to many familiar Tet products. Instead of exploiting family reunion images or repeated traditional symbols, the MV uses fashion language to tell the story of the New Year - where Tet is not only a return, but also a moment for each person to define themselves when entering a new cycle of time.

In particular, the MV "Happy New Year" also attracted attention when it gathered a large and personality-rich cameo cast such as Nguyen Hai Phong, Dang Khoi, Kien Ung, Duy Nhat, Ung Dai Ve, Pham Viet Hoang, Toi, Kim Cuong... The appearance of the artists contributed to increasing the attraction of the product, and at the same time showed the connection between colleagues who have accompanied Phan Dinh Tung through many stages of operation.
With this project, Phan Dinh Tung hopes "Happy New Year" will not only be a song dedicated to the New Year, but also become a spiritual wish - helping the audience start each day with a peaceful, positive mindset and towards a peaceful and happy new year.
