After its premiere on January 29, the movie "The Four Guardians" by director Tran Thanh has continuously broken many old records of Vietnamese cinema.
The film has now broken the record for the highest single-day revenue of all time with a figure of up to 41 billion VND. The film has surpassed 2,000,000 tickets sold after only 5 days, becoming the first Vietnamese comedy film of the 2025 Tet season to achieve this achievement.
Currently, director Tran Thanh, screenwriter Luong Nghiem Huy and actors Le Giang, Le Duong Bao Lam, Uyen An, Tieu Vy, Quoc Anh and Ky Duyen are interacting at cinema complexes CGV Vincom Vinh Long, CGV GO My Tho, Cinestar My Tho and Galaxy Ben Tre.
The film follows four characters: Uncle Muoi Mot, Aunt Bon, Chet-xi-ca and Con Kieu. Each one is different, from appearance, age to personality, but they all have one big thing in common: Their "reporting" scenes put the couple Quoc Anh - Quynh Anh in a series of difficult situations. However, behind all those seemingly random troubles, they are all closely linked to Karen - the key link of the story.
